ISP line modem/ONT-তে এবং Ethernet router-এর WAN/Internet port-এ আছে কি না দেখুন। Loose cable, ভুল port বা power সমস্যা আগে বাদ দিন।
WAN ও gateway
Router status page-এ WAN IP 0.0.0.0 হলে connection type, cable, modem provisioning বা ISP issue হতে পারে। আপনার device-এর gateway এবং router-এর LAN IP একই জিনিস না-ও হতে পারে।
Scope test
একবার router বাদ দিয়ে একটি অনুমোদিত computer modem-এ Ethernet-এ যুক্ত করে পরীক্ষা করা যায়, যদি ISP ও modem নির্দেশনা তা অনুমতি দেয়। Direct connection কাজ করলে router-side issue; না হলে modem/ISP side investigate করুন।
Power-cycle বনাম reset
সাধারণ power-cycle configuration মুছে না; factory reset মুছে দিতে পারে। Modem আগে ও router পরে চালু করা অনেক setup-এ সাহায্য করে, কিন্তু ISP-specific order থাকলে সেটিই মানুন।
কখন ISP support?
Online light, provisioning, account, line fault, CGNAT বা PPPoE/VLAN তথ্য দরকার হলে ISP-এর official support-এ model ও status light জানিয়ে যোগাযোগ করুন। Password বা public IP প্রকাশ্যে পাঠাবেন না।
