The 3 GPON Authentication Secrets:
1) PON Serial Number (GPON SN): Usually 12 or 16 hex characters (e.g.,
HWTC12345678 or VSOL...). Replicate this exactly in your new ONT's settings.
2) LOID & Password: Many OLTs require a Logical Operations Identifier (LOID). Log into the old ONT's web GUI at 192.168.1.1 under Network → PON Settings and note the LOID string and password.
3) WAN VLAN ID: Obtain your Internet VLAN ID (e.g. VLAN 100, 500, or untagged) and tag it on the new WAN interface. When properly configured, the ONT will reach O5 (Operation) State with a solid green PON light.
